About Us
The Walla Walla Exchange Club is a unique segment of Walla Walla's existing and emerging leadership: dynamic and gifted people who serve their community in direct and tangible ways, and who are also honing their leadership skills and forming new friendships at the same time.
Our club sponsors a variety of activities that support and draw attention to our central mission, which is the prevention of child abuse in the Walla Walla Valley. The activities are designed to meet the needs of our community as well as to preserve and strengthen the principles that make our nation great.
Mission of the Exchange ClubExchange, America's Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, community service, youth activities, and its national project, the prevention of child abuse.
Local HistoryOn Saturday, March 26, 1949, in the Georgian Ballroom of the Marcus Whitman Hotel, the Chartering Banquet for the Exchange Club of Walla Walla was held. With seventy-one charter members, the Exchange Club of Walla Walla became on of the larger and stronger service clubs in the community.
